Colorless transparent liquid with aromatic odor. It has a specific gravity of 0.861, a melting point of 13.2 C, a boiling point of 138.5 C and a flash point of 25 C. It can be miscible with organic solvents such as ethanol, ether and acetone. Flammable, low toxic compound, slightly higher toxicity than ethanol, its vapor and air can form an explosive mixture, explosion limit 1.1% - 7.0% (volume fraction).
